The Magical Mystery Show is family-friendly and perfect for date night, featuring comedy and magic from performers you may have seen on Penn & Teller: Fool Us, America’s Got Talent, international television, and global award stages.
The show presents some of the world’s best magical entertainers in an elegant, intimate setting, designed to truly stun and entertain. You are only a few feet away as impossible moments and miracles happen right before your eyes.
The experience takes place in our unique Hawaiian-Victorian, antique-filled theatre. Your journey begins in the Museum of Curiosities and Oddities, setting the tone for a step back in time. Inspired by history, the show references 1881, when Hawaii’s last king, King David Kalākaua, witnessed magic in a London home. We share the history, lore, and fun throughout this one-of-a-kind experience.
Each show is limited to fewer than 60 guests to preserve the intimacy, allowing for close-up magic, laughter, and the charm of a bygone era. Guests actively participate in the performance and experience astonishing feats of prestidigitation up close.
Guests leave with the lines between fantasy and reality completely blurred.
There’s truly nothing else like it anywhere. -
It’s the entire experience, not just a magic show or a traditional theater performance. The Magical Mystery Show combines world-class magic, comedy, immersive storytelling, a walk-through museum, and escape-room–style mystery elements, all inside a beautifully intimate theater.
Guests don’t simply sit and watch — they step into a world. From the Museum of Curiosities and Oddities to the live performance itself, the experience is designed to feel immersive, personal, and unforgettable, with magic happening just a few feet away.

They’re both fantastic, but very different experiences. Cirque du Soleil is a large-scale theatrical spectacle with acrobatics and dramatic set pieces. The Magical Mystery Show! is a close-up, interactive and intimate magic experience with award-winning entertainers, comedy, and personal moments that happen inches from your seat. If you want intimate wonder and laughs, this show offers something no big arena show can replicate.
-
Big Vegas magic shows are grand, polished stage productions seen from a distance. The Magical Mystery Show! delivers world-class magic in an intimate space, where illusions feel more astonishing because they happen right in front of you. It’s not competing on size — it’s about proximity, personality, and participation.
-
It’s a blend of both. It has the structure and production quality of theater like Broadway, yet it also features comedic moments and audience interaction similar to a comedy club. You’ll laugh and be amazed.
-
The Magical Mystery Show! is designed to be an experience enjoyed by all ages—literally from 0 to 99—much like a Pixar movie.
Children are captivated by the magic on one level, drawn in by the colors, surprises, laughter, and sheer wonder. Meanwhile, adults appreciate it on a deeper level, finding meaning, emotion, artistry, and complex themes woven into the illusions.
It’s a perfect balance: Kids are amazed by what they see, while adults appreciate how and why it’s presented—the storytelling, timing, humor, history, and the human connection behind the magic.
This careful design ensures the show isn’t “for kids” or “for adults,” but for everyone, with the experience changing based on the individual and what they bring into the room.
-
Yes. Street magic is thrilling because of its spontaneity, but The Magical Mystery Show! features professional theatrical staging, expert presentation, and world-class performers. You get that up-close excitement with the added polish and planning of a show designed to astonish.
-
Luaus are cultural and festive experiences with food, dance, and music. The Magical Mystery Show! is a totally different entertainment experience focused on magic, storytelling, and wonder. If you want something unlike any other event in Hawaiʻi — intimate, mysterious, and amazement-driven — this show is absolutely worth it as a separate highlight of your trip.
-

The focus of the show’s design, pacing, and audience experience is on high quality, artistry, and authentic connection, avoiding cheap gimmicks.
